Methodology

We determined a ±1 degree margin of error. Bus stops labeled as "neutral" meant the temperature inside the bus shelter was within one degree WBGT of the direct sunlight reading. We interpret this as the temperature inside the bus shelter being just as hot as direct sunlight.
